Objects:
1.1 the trustees shall hold the trust fund on trust to apply the income or any part or parts of the same for or towards the provision of support for the educational experience of young persons who by reason of their social or economic circumstances are in need of financial assistance and the preservation of health and relief of sickness of persons who by reason of their social or economic circumstances are in need of financial assistance and in particular (without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing) for or towards:1.1.1 grants to schools or other educational establishments for educational purposesincluding (without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing) for musical,sporting, artistic, theatrical, vocational and social purposes for the educationalbenefit of such young persons;1.1.2 the award of bursaries, scholarships or maintenance allowances to such youngpersons to attend any school, university or other educational establishment;1.1.3 the provision of financial support for the private tuition of such young persons;1.1.4 the provision of:1.1.4.1 musical instruments and music tuition;1.1.4.2 sporting kit, equipment and training;1.1.4.3 art materials, equipment and instruction; and1.1.4.4 all such books of reference or of an educational nature, tools,instruments, clothing, equipment and other things as may bereasonably required by such young persons for the purposes ofeducation or to prepare them for or assist their entry into a trade,profession or service;1.1.5 the award to such young persons of grants or maintenance allowances to enablethem to participate in trips, courses, activities and travel, whether in the united kingdom or abroad, in furtherance of their education and of developing skills,whether academic, physical, vocational or otherwise;1.1.6 the provision of workshops and such other training facilities as will enable suchyoung persons to obtain work experience or acquire and develop vocational orprofessional skills to enable them to gain employment; and1.1.7 research into physical or mental illness of any description and the provision of healthcare and rehabilitation, financial assistance, support, education and advice to persons suffering from such illnesses.1.1.8 such other charitable purposes generally as the trustees shall from time to time intheir absolute discretion decide.
