the charity's object is to relieve the need or disability of persons, particularly those suffering impairment of their learning abilities. this object will be achieved by the following means: 1. assisting such persons, in particular those with learning disabilities, to obtain full rights and privileges as citizens; 2. promoting social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing such people from becoming socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society; 3. enable and encouraging such persons, in particular those with learning disabilities and/or learning difficulties, to support each other in obtaining full rights and privileges as citizens; 4. providing help, support and advocacy to such persons, in particular those with learning disabilities, on a one-to-one basis; 5. promoting to society the abilities and potential of such people, in particular those with learning disabilities; 6. developing best practice in service provision through consultation, feedback, monitoring and evaluation; 7. developing and delivering training; 8 .publicising, marketing and promoting the work of the organisation.
