Objects:
The Charity’s objects (“the Objectsâ€) are to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of central Bolton, i.e. the town/borough councils of Bolton, Lancashire and other neighbouring localities (“the Area of Benefitsâ€) whether members of the BWACC or not and in particular those of Bangladeshi origin residing permanently in the Area of Benefits, without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions by:i. Advancing education concerning good citizenship in a multi-racial, multi-cultural and multi-faith society and promoting good relations between such persons;ii. Advancing education concerning the Bangladeshi culture and history either independently or jointly with other organisations having similar objects;iii. Relieving such person, primarily those of Bangladeshi origin, in conditions of need, hardship or distress with question of housing, employment, welfare rights, social issues, immigration and legal problems;iv. Associating with local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, employments for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving conditions of life for the said inhabitant;v. Establishing or securing the establishment of a community centre and managing or co-operating with any statutory authority in the maintenance and management of such a centre for activities promoted by the Charity in furtherance of the Objects
