Objects:
"to provide financial assistance to green cross international in so far as it furthers the following charitable purposes namely;the protection and preservation of human life and the relief of poverty and distress for the benefit of the public by;1) the preservation and protection of natural resources and the conservation of the environment including the improvement, maintenance or protection of water supplies and sanitation in economically disadvantaged communities;2) the relief of poverty and the improvement of the conditions of life and safety of people living in socially and economically disadvantaged communities or areas affected by war;3) the promotion of sustainable development as a means of achieving economic growth and regeneration and good health;4) the provision of advice on the preservation and protection of health in economically disadvantaged communities;5) engaging in the promotion of national and international conflict resolution and reconciliation with a view to relieving suffering, poverty and distress bya) investigating and identifying probable causes of conflict.b) examine probable solutions to the conflict through participatory research into relevant economic and social issues.c) mediating with parties to the conflict and others together to discuss such research and possible solutions enabling them to build relationships of trust.d) recommending to the international community and the parties involved the measures which are likely to result in the resolution or prevention of the conflict or the resolution of any humanitarian crisis that may ensue from the conflict.e) publishing reports for the benefit of the public on the causes and recommended solutions of particular conflicts.provided that all activities shall be balanced and shall maintain or enhance the commitment of the trustees and green cross international to remain impartial.to advance the education of the public in subjects related to sustainable development and the protection, enhancement and rehabilitation of the environment and to promote study and research in such subjects provided that the useful results of such study are disseminated to the public at large.for the purposes of this clause 5. "" sustainable development "" means development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."
