i) to develop the capacity and skills of the members of the socially and economically disadvantaged community of middleton, north manchester in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society.ii) to promote, for the benefit of the public, the efficiency of the police in middleton, north manchester and to promote good citizenship and greater public participation in the prevention and solution of crime in the are.iii) to advance in life and help young people through;a) the provision of recreational and leisure time activities provided in the interest of social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of life;b) providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.iv) to relieve persons who are in condition of need, hardship or distress by reason of their social and economic circumstances in particular but not exclusively by the provision of a drop in centre.v) to provide education and training for the persons referred to in clause 4.vi) to preserve and protect the good health of the persons referred to in clause 4.vii) to advance the christian religion.
