1- to promote the relief of poverty and advancement of education of refugees andinternally displaced people (idps) living in refugee or idps camps as a consequenceof conflicts or other disasters anywhere in the world, particularly but not by way oflimitation by providing or assisting in the provision of a) books, teaching materials,other educational equipment, tools or resources b) teacher's and students' training c)school facilities and materials, such as classrooms, schools or other materials d) byproviding other items as and when necessary at the discretion of the trustees.2- to act as a resource for young refugees or idps living in refugee or idps campsby organising programmes of educational and other activities including but not byway of limitation by establishing international exchange programmes with institutionsor other organisations around the world as a means of:(a) advancing in life and helping young refugees, by developing their skills, capacitiesand capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature andresponsible individuals;(b) advancing education;(c) providing cultural, recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of socialwelfare for people living in refugee or idps camps with a view to improving theconditions of life of such persons.
