the object for which the company is established is to advance the education of young people in the humber sub-region (being the area including the east riding of yorkshire, hull, north lincolnshire and north east lincolnshire for the public benefit in particular but not exclusively by (a) improving access to and increasing participation in work-based learning opportunities for young people not in education, employment or training, to encourage their engagement and participation in learning post sixteen(b) raising the profile of work-based learning, apprenticeships and such other vocational training in colleges, schools and other educational institutions to increase awareness of this1 acting as a representative and resource for work-based learning providers in the humber sub-region to promote best practice and continually improve the quality of provision of work based learning.
