Objects:

to promote the teachings of the buddha (buddha susana) by:1 providing, maintaining and supporting, in accordance with the principles of the theravada vinaya, residential establishments for a monastic sangha of persons who have undertaken the rules of training (sikkhapada):2 supporting lay people in the practice and teachings of the buddha; and 3 such other means as may from time to time be decided.
