3.1 to protect and promote the good health of the public, in particular by funding research and the application of this research in connection with the nature, causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure of cancer, focusing on but not limited to the gastrointestinal tract.3.2 to support the prevention, detection, treatment and cure of cancer in individual patients and groups of patients, focusing but not limited to cancers of the gastrointestinal tract, by funding methods of prevention, treatment and cure that would not otherwise be available to them.3.3 to promote good health and relieve sickness for the benefit of the public, in particular young people, by promoting awareness of and educating in the outcomes of research and information regarding cancer and its nature, causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure.3.4 to provide relief, support and care to cancer patients, their families and friends.
