3. objects3.1 the company has been established for public benefit for the following purposes:3.1.1 to promote humane behaviour towards animals by providing appropriate care,protection, treatment and security for animals which are in need of care andattention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill usage andto educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and theprevention of cruelty and suffering among animals; and/or3.1.2 to prevent and alleviate cruelty to farm and other animals; and/or3.1.3 to advance the education of the public concerning the care and treatment of animalsand to promote and advance public education in animal sentience, ethnology, theimplications of farming practices on human health and ecology, including the studyof man's activities and the relationship of those activities to the biosphere of theearth; and/or3.1.4 such other charitable purposes for public benefit above as the trustees shall in theirabsolute discretion determine(the 'objects').
