1.to advance the hindu religion in essex and surrounding area for the benefit of the public through holding of prayers meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals, producing and /or distributing literature on the hindu religion to enlighten others about the hindu religion.2. to advance the education of the public in the history, culture and traditions of the hindu religion through social, educational and religious events. to further or benefit the residents of essex and neighbourhood without distinctions of sex, sexual orientation, race or of a political, religions, or other opinions by associating together the said residents and local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation leisure time occupation with the objective improving the conditions of life for the residents of essex and neighbourhood.to establish or secure the establishment of a community centre and to maintain or manage or co-operate with the statutory authority in the maintenance and management of such a centre for activators promoted by the charity in furtherance of the above objects.
