3.1 the association is established for the relief of persons suffering fromdisabilities attributable to the effects of radiation - particularly duringnuclear weapons tests - and their families, and for other persons sufferingfrom similar disabilities, with a view to obtaining legal, medical,educational and other aid and advice to enable such persons to overcometheir special difficulties, to live as normal a life as possible;3.2 to conduct or promote research into the causes and effects andtreatment of such disabilities and to disseminate the results of suchresearch;3.3 to provide financial assistance and support by way of grants gifts orotherwise in deserving cases of need of any of the beneficiaries and theirfamilies.
