"3.1 ""the promotion for the benefit of the public of urban or rural regeneration inareas of social and economic deprivation (and in particular in the unitedkingdom) by all or any of the following means:3.1.1 the provision of financial assistance, technical assistance or businessadvice or consultancy in order to provide training and employmentopportunities for unemployed people in cases of financial or othercharitable need through help: (i) in setting up their own business, or (ii)to existing businesses;3.1.2 the provision of public health facilities and childcare;3.1.3 the provision of housing for those who are in conditions of need andthe improvement of housing in the public sector or in charitableownership provided that such power shall not extend to relieving anylocal authorities or other bodies of a statutory duty to provide orimprove housing.3.2 the advancement of education for the public benefit.3.3 the relief of poverty as a way of giving practical expression to the christianfaith in a manner which authenticates the christian faith in particular, butwithout limitation, by providing facilities, support, advice and assistance forchristian congregations, other christian groupings and community groupswhich are delivering charitable services to the poor and needy."
