"4.1 to advance and promote education and research and other charitablepurposes connected with keble college university of oxford(""keble"") and the university of oxford as a whole and its students(whether present or prospective) including:a) the provision of grants or loans to future and present membersof keble who are in financial need;b) the provision, improvement, replacement, or repair ofbuildings or other fixed and other equipment and assets ofkeble and the university of oxford, whether by making newadditions to them or otherwise;c) the advancement of research and education in the universityof oxford in the field of classical, ancient world andbyzantine studies providing conferences, courses, lectures,seminars, the funding of academic posts, for example, chairs,lectureships, research fellowships and any other charitablemeans directed to the advancement of education for the publicbenefit.4.2 to advance and promote education and research and other charitablepurposes connected with trinity college university of cambridge(""trinity"") and the university of cambridge as a whole and itsstudents (whether present or prospective) including:a) the provision of grants or loans to future and present membersof trinity who are in financial need;b) the provision, improvement, replacement, or repair ofbuildings or other fixed and other equipment and assets oftrinity and the university of cambridge, whether by makingnew additions to them or otherwise;c) the advancement of research and education in the universityof cambridge in the field of mathematics by providingconferences, courses, lectures, seminars, the funding ofacademic posts, for example, chairs, lectureships, researchfellowships and any other charitable means which the trusteesshall determine.4.3 to promote and advance the education of the public generally in thestudy and practice of the arts of music, poetry, acting, dancing,literature and similar arts in all their branches and the cultivation ofpublic appreciation of those arts including:a) a competitive music festival in buxton annually or at suchother times as may be decided;b) the production of educational plays and the promotion of-thearts, including the arts of drama, mime, dance, singing andmusic, literature and poetry at the edinburgh festival;c) to promote and encourage the advancement of learning and inparticular the art and science of music by the production,arrangement, promotion and commissioning of opera throughthe ""scottish opera"".4.4 for the benefit of the public to conserve or assist in the conservationof all forms of wild life, flora and fauna in the scottish highlandsotherwise known as ""wild land"" including:a) the advancement of education of the public within the area ofbenefit in all flora and fauna and matters relating thereto; andb) to promote the establishment of wild life and nature reserveswithin the area of benefit; andc) to help all, especially young people of limited means, to agreater knowledge, love and care of the countryside,particularly by assisting with the provision of simpleaccommodation such as that provided by mountain bothies and the scottish youth hostel association, and thus to promote their health, recreation and education."
