Objects:

i. the promotion of religious harmony for the benefit of the public by:(a) promoting knowledge and mutual understanding and respect of thebeliefs and practices of different faiths and worldviews;(b) educating the public in different religious beliefs including anawareness of their distinctive features and their common ground topromote good relations between persons of different faiths.the promotion of racial harmony for the benefit of the public by:(a) promoting knowledge and mutual understanding between differentracial groups;(b) advancing education and raising awareness about different racialgroups to promote good relations between persons of different racialgroups.iii. the promotion of equality and diversity for the public benefit byeliminating discrimination on grounds of race and religion and belief.iv. helping young people, especially but not exclusively, through leisuretime activities with a view to developing their capabilities that they mightgrow to full maturity as individuals and members of a culturally diversesociety.the area of benefit shall be gateshead and the surrounding region.
