"the objects are to promote the following charitable purposes for the benefit of all persons:1 to relieve sickness and to preserve health by providing or assisting in the provision of services which are ancillary to those provided by the statutory authorities, in particular but not exclusively by;(a) helping attain the highest possible standards of care and support for all those who are sick or physically disabled; and(b) pioneering and publishing research into the causes of various illnesses and into improving methods of prevention, diagnosis and treatment. 2 to promote humane behaviour towards animals by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for animals which are in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill usage and to educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals, in particular but not exclusively by:(a) offering shelter or sanctuary for animals which are in need of medical attention; and(b) providing medical treatment for animals; actively seeking new homes for ""rescued"" animals. 3 such other exclusively charitable objects and purposes in any part of the world as the trustees may in their discretion think fit."
