"i. to promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society through the provision of soup kitchen and support services. for the purpose of this clause 'socially excluded' means being excluded from society, or parts of society,as a result of one of more of the following factors: unemployment; financial hardship; youth or old age;ill health (physical or mental); substance abuse or dependency including alcohol and drugs;discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, disability, ethnic origin, religion, belief, creed, sexual orientation or gender re-assignment; poor educational or skills attainment; relationship and familybreakdown; poor housing (that is housing that does not meet basic habitable standards; crime (either as a victim of crime or as an offender rehabilitating into society).""i. to advance the education of the public in healthy living by the provision of lectures, fora, health checks and by the publication of newsletters devoted to healthcare ii. to act as a resource for young people living in berkshire by providing advice and assistance andorganising programmes of physical, educational and other activities as a means of:(a) helping young people by developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enablethem to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals;(b) advancing education;(c) relieving unemployment;(d) providing recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of social welfare forpeople living in the area of benefit who have need by reason of their youth, age,infirmity or disability, poverty or social and economic circumstances with a view toimproving the conditions of life of such persons.iii. to proclaim and teach the everlasting gospel of our lord and saviour jesus christ in berkshire forthe benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures [public celebration ofreligious festivals] producing and/or distributing literature on christian faith to enlighten othersabout the christian religion."
