"1) to prevent or relieve poverty and hardship of all older people (regardless of sex, sexual orientation, race or political motivation or any other factors in line with the single equalities act 2010) throughout warwick district by identifying factors which contribute to poverty and hardship, and then collaborating with private, voluntary and statutory organisations in order to help mitigate these.2) to promote the advancement of education to all older people (regardless of sex,sexual orientation, race or political motivation or any other factors in line with thesingle equalities act 2010) throughout warwick district to help relieve socialexclusion and/or improve health and/or well- being.3) to promote the social inclusion of older people by preventing them from becomingsocially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded andassisting them to integrate into society. this will be achieved by providing social,health-related and physical activities for older people.for the purpose of this clause 'socially excluded' means being excluded from society,or parts of society, as a result of one of more of the following factors: unemployment;financial hardship; youth or old age; ill health (physical or mental); substance abuseor dependency including alcohol and drugs; discrimination on the grounds of sex,race, disability, ethnic origin, religion, belief, creed, sexual orientation or gender reassignment;poor educational or skills attainment; relationship and family breakdown;poor housing (that is housing that does not meet basic habitable standards; crime(either as a victim of crime or as an offender rehabilitating into society)."""
