3.1. to act as a resource for young people and young adults living inleicestershire, with a focus on those from minority ethnicbackgrounds, by providing advice and assistance and organisingprogrammes of physical, educational and other activities as a means of:(a) advancing in life and helping young people by developing theirskills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate insociety as independent, mature and responsible individuals;(b) advancing education;(c) relieving unemployment;(d) providing recreational and leisure time activity in the interests ofsocial welfare for people living in the area of benefit who have need byreason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, poverty or social andeconomic circumstances with a view to improving the conditions of lifeof such persons.3.2. the advancement of education in the community, primarily but notexclusively by undertaking or assisting in the running of educationalcommunity projects3.3. the relief of need in the community with a view to promoting socialinclusion for people excluded or marginalized from society because ofsocial or economic disadvantagethese objects shall be primarily but not exclusively undertaken withinleicestershire
