"the objects of the charity are to promote for the public benefit any charitablepurpose connected with the provision and support of residential anddomiciliary care and associated services and amenities (including familysupport and respite care) for persons (particularly aged persons) requiringcare home accommodation and/or nursing home accommodation and/orsuffering from dementia or psychiatric disorders in each case on termsappropriate to their means and with particular emphasis on the needs of theinhabitants of preston and surrounding districts (""the objects"").in carrying out the objects the charity shall have regard to the principles andethos of the christian faith and the doctrinal basis of the evangelical allianceand shall ensure that in the provision of accommodation, amenities andservices persons using them shall have opportunity if they so wish to receivespiritual support and to participate in christian spiritual and religious activities."
