Objects:
1 to promote the education (including social and physical training and activities) of people aged under 18 years who have been excluded from school or college for any reason by awarding to such persons scholarships, maintenance allowances, grants or the payment of costs and expenses in relation to their attendance at the path hill outdoor centre in pangbourne, oxfordshire or any other similar establishment deemed appropriate by the trustees;2 to advance in life and help young people through the provision of resources whether financial or otherwise, which will assist their participation in activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals;3 to promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing young people (being those under the age of 18) from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are, or who are at risk of becoming, socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society; and 4 such other purposes as are charitable according to the laws of england and wales for the benefit of the public.for the purposes of this clause ‘socially excluded’ means being excluded from society as a result of one or more of the following factors:unemployment; financial hardship; race; gender; poor educational or skills attainment; disability; ethnic origin; or who are within, or have experienced, the public care or penal system.
