1. to advance education for the public benefit in particular but not exclusively by:a) preserving sacred buddhist and thai arts and heritages for present and future generations and to disseminate knowledge of these to individuals who would otherwise not have the opportunity to experience themb) providing thai and/or english language lessons featuring buddhist teachings for the community2. to advance buddhism in the united kingdom for the public benefit in particular but not exclusively by:a) providing a place of worship, facilities for religious functions and for the performance of religious activities and meditation classes/retreatsb) providing an opportunity and a place for anyone, who is qualified under the rules of theravada buddhism, to be ordainedc) accommodating, supporting and maintaining buddhist monks nuns and other such persons as may be designated by the sangha (orders of buddhist monks) who have undertaken the rules of practices for them to carry out buddhist devotional acts as well as outreach workd) providing a centre for the dissemination of theorectical and practical buddhist teachings, at the location itself, through outreach activities and through the trustôçös thai and english language websites e) arranging and providing religious education classes, public talks, exhibitions and activities that raise awareness and understanding of buddhism, andf) publishing and circulating books, reports, periodicals, pamphlets or other documents relating to buddhist topics in thai and/or english3. to promote interfaith harmony and better understanding of different faith beliefs in particular but not exclusively by:a) promoting a greater mutual understanding of thai and british cultures whilst aiding community cohesion and supporting ethnic minorities.b) organising and supporting buddhist and thai cultural festivals through free cultural performances, ceremonies, exhibitions and occasional provision of free authentic thai food
