Objects:
the objects of the society are to advance religion by assisting in the support of the cathedral and contributing both financially and in other appropriate ways to its preservation, maintenance, enhancement and ministry and in furtherance thereof but not otherwise:3.1 to arouse and maintain public interest in the cathedral;3.2 to assist and support the dean and the cathedral chapter in maintaining and improving the fittings, furniture, ornaments, monuments, services and music in the cathedral and in maintaining and improving its fabric and precincts;3.3 to encourage the interest and participation of young people and to provide a channel through which they can give various forms of service to the cathedral;3.4 to publish literature furthering the objects of the society including an annual report.
