3 Application of incomeThe Trustees must apply the income of the Charity in furthering the following objects (“the objectsâ€) which shall be for the public bene?t in the Burkina Faso area of West Africa:-(i) to preserve and protect good health by providing finance for the drilling of wells and the provision of clean water and to ensure wells are maintained and in working order;(ii) to advance education by providing assistance to schools, in particular but not exclusively through the provision of equipment and supplies for schools; and(iii) to relieve ?nancial hardship by supporting small agricultural/horticultural projects; and(iv) to advance religion by passing on gifts for the purchase of Christian literature, including bibles, to churches where poverty makes it impossible for local people to buy them; and(v) to prevent and relieve poverty and further other charitable purposes (specifically, the social relief, resettlement and rehabilitation of persons under a disability or deprivation) by passing on gifts for the relief of suffering caused by terrorist activity (and consequent population migration), drought or other natural disaster.
