"to promote the education of pupils at the school by providing equipment and other facilities in the building of the school known as school house and junior house to promote the education of a boy or boys attending or about to enter the school by awarding to such boy or boys selected on the grounds of academic merit a scholarship or scholarships tenable on such terms as the trustees prescribes. the advancement of education, in particular the conduct of the school known as lord wandsworth college for the benefit of children and young persons in the united kingdom and elsewhere. the encouragement and promotion of education and in particular at the school of the lord wandsworth college charity. (for details see clause 2 of the scheme) to support the endowment fund of the lord wandsworth foundation - registration number 307287. to contribute towards building development at the college of the lord wandsworth college charity - registration number 272050. 1)to support the endowment fund of the lord wandsworth foundation 2)to contribute towards building development at the college of the lord wandsworth college charity (272050). to promote the independent education of boys and, if the trustees so determine, girls, by providing a day and boarding school for their primary and secondary education, with preference for children who have lost one or both parents, or whose parents are separated or divorced (1) the provision of financial and material assistance for promoting the education or advancement in life of persons under the age of 25 who are in need and who were born in great britain, northern ireland, the isle of man or the channel islands or who would have been so born if their parents had not been employed for the time being abroad and who have either lost one or both parents or whose parents are divorced or separated (""foundationers"");(2) the advancement of education by supporting in such ways as the trustee shall from time to time think fit charities having schools or other educational establishments at which foundationers are pupils or students"". the objects for which the charity is established are specifically restricted to the advancement of education by:2.1 maintaining and conducting a day and boarding school or schools (including that known as lord wandsworth college (""the school"") for boys and girls for their primary and secondary education with preference for persons who were born in great britain, northern ireland, the isle of man or the channel island or who would have been so born if their parents had not been employed for the time being abroad and who have lost one or both parents or whose parents are separated or divorced (""qualifying persons"");2.2 providing means tested financial and material assistance to:-2.2.1 actual or prospective pupils of the school and/or any other school maintained or conducted by the charity;2.2.2 qualifying persons under the age of 25 in connection with their attendance at the school and/or any other school maintained and conducted by the charity and/or at further or higher education establishments; and2.3 awarding scholarships and prizes based on assessed merit to pupils of the school and/or any other school maintained and conducted by the charity."
