Objects:
"the charity's objects (""objects"") are specifically restricted to the following: (a)to advance, in whatever manner is lawfully possible, the elimination of domestic violence throughout the world; and(b)to promote the better understanding, management and resolution of the issues surrounding domestic violence, throughout the world by, inter alia, all or any of the following means: (i)working with other partners (whether governmental, non-governmental, super-national, international, commercial, charitable, educational or otherwise) in order to become a leading resource in sharing knowledge to eliminate domestic violence;(ii)providing practical expertise, tools and guidance to support the elimination of domestic violence, including without limitation: (a) providing technical advice on domestic violence issues; and (b) commenting on and contributing to the sound administration of laws in relation to the elimination of domestic violence; (iii) commissioning and collating research into the economic, financial or social impact, cost and savings related to domestic violence;(iv)evaluating the effectiveness of different policy solutions to domestic violence;(v)working in partnership with interested parties and key stakeholders in society, government, commerce or otherwise, in order to provide bespoke solutions to domestic violence; and(vi)working with, inter alia: (a) local and national governments; (b) multilateral, super-national and non-governmental institutions (including any affiliated sub-agency); (c) public authorities and quasi-public authorities; (d) local, national and international aid agencies; (e) local, national and international corporations and industries; (f) other charities, trusts and voluntary bodies; and (g) universities and other research centres, in order to help meet the united nations standards as promulgated in the united nations declaration. in furtherance of the objects, the charity may also have regard, where appropriate and in a manner consistent with the aims and aspirations of the united nations declaration, to such other standards addressing domestic violence as may from time to time be promulgated, including without limitation, the following standards:(1) council of europe convention; (2) un declaration of human rights;(3) un convention on the rights of children;(4) uk equality act 2010;(5) european convention on human rights;(6) doha conference; and(7) millennium goals.in furtherance of the objects but not otherwise, the charity shall have power to engage in political activity provided that the directors are satisfied that the proposed activities will further the purposes of the charity to an extent justified by the resources committed and the activity is not the dominant means by which the charity carries out its objects."
