a.the trustees must apply the income of the charity in furthering the following objects (ôç£the objectsôçø) in the united kingdom to assist persons who are currently serving or who have served in ôçÿthe rifles regimentôçö and their dependents by advancing any purpose which is exclusively charitable according to the law for the time being of england and wales at the absolute discretion of the trustees and in particular but not exclusively:-(i) to promote and protect the health of those that have been wounded or injured through the provision of facilities equipment or services for their rehabilitation; and(ii) to promote and protect the health of those that have been wounded or injured whilst providing services to or in conjunction with and in either case under the direction of ôçÿthe rifles in an area of conflict or war and to provide benefits to the dependents of such persons who are in need.b. such charitable purposes for the public benefit as are exclusively charitable according to the laws of england and wales as the trustees may from time to time determine.
