Objects:
the objects of the charity (the objects) are the relief of sickness and the promotion and preservation of good health in the united kingdom, in particular but not exclusively, by:a) the funding and promotion of medical and/or scientific research into ataxia telangiectasia (a-t) with the aim of developing a cure for the condition and to identify links between a-t and other genetic diseases or conditions and to publish the useful results arising from such research;b) preventing a-t, including through, but not limited to, antenatal screening for a-t;c) the provision of information, advice, support and where, appropriate, financial assistance to anyone in the uk affected by a-t (including, where appropriate, the funding of equipment which can be used for the diagnosis or detection of a-t or for treating, mitigating or relieving the symptoms of a-t); and d) advancing the education of the public about a-t.
