"the objects of the charity are:1.1 to preserve for the benefit of the people of london and the united kingdom, the historical, architectural and constructional heritage that may exist in and around london in buildings (including any structure or erection, and any part of a building as so defined) of particular beauty or historical, architectural or constructional interest as may be required in furtherance of the work of the charity;1.2 to advance and promote:1.2.1 the arts, culture and heritage for the benefit of the public by promoting and facilitating access to the visual arts and other art forms;1.2.2 education of the general public in the arts, culture and heritage including by:(a) the establishment and maintenance of an arts centre with educational facilities accessible to the public: and(b) the promotion of educational and artistic dialogue, cultural relationships and understanding of different culturesin particular in the contemporary and historic arts, culture and heritage of the middle east, north africa and the wider islamic world;1.3 educate and assist young people through their leisure time activities so as to develop their physical, mental, and emotional capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved;1.4 to promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.for the purpose of this clause ""socially excluded"" means being excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of one of more of the following factors: unemployment; financial hardship; youth or old age; ill health (physical or mental); substance abuse or dependency including alcohol and drugs; discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, disability, ethnic origin, religion, belief, creed, sexual orientation or gender re-assignment; poor educational or skills attainment; relationship and family breakdown; poor housing (that is housing that does not meet basic habitable standards; crime (either as a victim of crime or as an offender rehabilitating into society);1.5 to promote any other purpose which is charitable."
