"to help and act as a resource for disenfranchised or socially excluded young people between the ages of 16 and 25 living in the uk with an interest in the arts, in the creative industry and new media by delivering workshops, seminars, exhibitions and mentoring programmes with the aim of:(a) advancing in life and helping young people by developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals; (b) advancing education and training by delivering practical training (e.g. in the production / publication of books, magazines and designs) to relieve unemployment in particular youth unemployment (by facilitating their employability and marketability); and (c) promoting the arts for the public benefit in particular but not limited to discovering and nurturing young creative talent.for the purpose of these objects ‘socially excluded’ means being excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of their age."""
