object 1to advance and promote the education of people in the subjects of civil and environmental engineering in such ways as the trustees think fit, including by:(a) demonstrating the opportunities of a career in civil and environmental engineering in schools to young people, teachers and parents.(b) assisting students in identifying appropriate study and training for their choice of career in industry, education and research(c) assisting universities in the provision of open ended projects as part of their curriculum(d) providing financial assistance to develop research to a point of useful application (e) providing financial assistance to enable engineers to travel to exchange ideas and further development(f) to offer financial support to other charities particularly to those that have similar aimsobjects 2 and 3to offer financial support to other charities particularly those that:(a) have similar aims(b) focus on medical research (c) provide relief and direct expert assistance in any part of the world to the victims of natural or other kinds of disaster in the form of money (or other means deemed suitable) for persons, bodies , organisations and/ or countries affected.the trustees may in their discretion, instead of applying the income of the fund arising in any year, accumulate all or part of such income by investing the same, and the resulting income, in any investment authorised by this deed or by the law as an accretion to and as part of such accumulated income in any subsequent year as if the same were income from the fund arising in the current year.
