1 to advance the education of children and young persons for the public benefit including: 1.1 by promoting and providing education, vocational and professional skills training for those in need, whether due to their financial hardship, discrimination, stigmatisation, famine, socioeconomic class, the effect of a disease such as hiv/aids or due any other reason; and 1.2 by advancing the education of the public, including by the use of media and advocacy and other means, in relation to the need for the education of children and young persons. 2 to promote the prevention and relief of poverty.
