(i) to advance the religion of islam, by means of, but not exclusively,promoting the teachings and tenets of islam, provision of facilities forworship and prayer, provision of facilities for islamic education andprovision of facilities for marriage and burials, in accordance with theteachings of the qur?an and the teachings of the prophet muhammad(peace be upon him) as interpreted by the sunni ahle-sunnah-wal-jamaah;(ii) to advance education for the benefit of the poor, the underprivilegedand people in need in the uk, and other countries determined fromtime to time, by means of, but not exclusively, the provision ofeducational programmes, such as urdu, arabic and gujarati classes,and the provision of educational facilities, such as libraries and trainingcentres;(iii) to relieve sickness and to preserve good health among the poor,underprivileged and people in need in the uk and abroad, by meansof, but not exclusively, the provision or assistance in the provision ofservices, facilities, equipment, clinics, medicines or grants for medicaldiagnosis and treatment, and provision of health education;(iv) to relieve financial hardship, distress and suffering among poor people, widows, orphans, refugees, victims of natural disasters and other people in need, by means of, but not exclusively, making grants for providing or paying for items, equipment, services and facilities, including the provision of food, water, clothing, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and accommodation for the said persons;(v) to promote racial and religious harmony for the benefit of the public by promoting knowledge and mutual understanding between different racial and faith groups, in ways that reduces conflict and creates trust, unity and peace between them;(vi) to help young people, especially but not exclusively through leisure time and recreational activities, so as to develop their capabilities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and as good citizens.
