the charity’s objects (‘objects’) are specifically restricted to the following: to promote the interests of people in england & wales, primarily in the london borough of redbridge and surrounding areas, who by reason of a learning or physical disability, autistic spectrum disorder, sensory disability, mental health problems, dementia or old age have difficulty in understanding and retaining information and communicating their needs and opinions, by providing independent advocacy services that will enable them to obtain access to their full rights and choices as citizens and promote social inclusion. these will include: 1. providing one-to-one advocacy services using paid and volunteer advocates 2. supporting self advocacy groups and service user involvement 3. raising awareness about advocacy 4. promoting advocacy and good practice in advocacy.
