"3. the charity's objectives (""the objects"") are:to relieve those in need, to advance the arts, education and training, to relieve unemployment and to promote racial harmony for the public benefit in particular but not exclusively by:(a) providing and arranging classes, tutorial courses, demonstrations, correspondent courses, lectures, seminars and to supervise the same, and to maintain premises for such teaching and to conduct courses and examination and award certificates, to employ teachers, tutors, provide technical support to the conference industry; examiners and others as may be required; and to establish and carry on seminars and conferences and to provide the facilities for study, research, cultivation and teaching.(b) running creative manufacturing training and employment workshops in the art and design particularly for people who by virtue of their social and economic circumstances are in need of education and employment (in particular design, bespoke manufacturing, sales and hire of bridal wear and bridal accessories).(c) advancing the education of the public in particular but not exclusively children and young people in the arts (meaning the musical, visual, literary, dramatic or any other arts provided in each case they are of recognised cultural, aesthetic or educational value), culture and traditional values of the african caribbean community. (d) supporting children and young people in the cultural and social heritage of the african caribbean community, and subjects of artistic merit so that the development of good relations between persons of different racial groups might be promoted and the contribution which a multi-racial community has to make to society might be enhanced, specifically but not exclusively in the london borough of hackney and surrounding areas."
