"the objects of the association are to:(a) promote the benefit of the inhabitants of marfleet lane estate hull (the area of benefit) without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race, age, disability, nationality, or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating together the said inhabitants, the william sutton trust (""the trust"") and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants;(b) relieve such of the said inhabitants who are suffering from financial hardships. sickness and distress or who are otherwise in need by providing them with the information, advice and other assistance in respect of advocacy, representation, welfare rights, training, employment and other matters;(c) establish, or secure the establishment of, or otherwise acquire, a community centre (""the centre) and to maintain and manage the same (whether alone or in co-operation with any local authority, the trust, or other person or body) in furtherance of these objects.(d) promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined.the association shall be non-party in politics and non-sectarian in religion."
