"the objects of the charity are to:1. to relieve and assist the victims of war, conflict or natural disaster, in particular by the provision of food, medical aid, accommodation, access to water and sanitation and other humanitarian assistance; 2. the relief of sickness and the protection and preservation of health by providing medicine, shelter and other essential needs3. the prevention or relief of poverty or financial hardship in particular but without limitation by providing persons in need with grants or money or by providing or paying for services, items or facilities;4. such other purposes which are charitable under the laws of england and wales as the trustees from time to time determinein particular for, but not limited to the people in syria and surrounding countries and refugees of syrian origin in other parts of the world.5. promote sustainable development for the benefit of the public by:5.1 the relief of poverty and the improvement of the conditions of life in socially and economically disadvantaged communities;5.2 the preservation, conservation and protection of the environment and the prudent use of resources;5.3 the promotion of sustainable means of achieving economic growth and regeneration; ""sustainable development"" means ""development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs""."
