Objects:
the objects for which the charity is established are to promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the communities in the vale of glamorgan and surrounding areas (hereinafter called “the area of benefitâ€), and in particular the advancement of education, the preservation and protection of good health, the relief of poverty, distress and sickness, in particular but not exclusively by:a) promoting, encouraging and assisting in the co-operation between charitable, community, voluntary, local and other statutory organisations in the furtherance of the above purposes and to exchange information and advice with them for the benefit of the area of benefit; b) fostering the ethos of voluntary community participation to all by providing opportunities, guidance and support; c) encouraging an ethos of partnership working with local authorities, charities and voluntary organisations to achieve the charity’s objects;d) focusing the attention of the area of benefit on social problems, with a view to creating a sense of individual responsibility and personal participation in the remedying of these problems; ande) to advance in life relieve the needs of young people, through the provision of grants.
