to develop the capacity and skills of the socially disadvantaged african & african cultures of leicestershire in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society.in furtherance of the above the charity will in particular, but not exclusively:•act as advocates for african and african caribbean people who are unable to speak for themselves because of social or mental health impairment by providing advice, representation and information to support their situation;•provide a space where african and caribbean people can meet to participate in activities to gain skills that will enable them to improve their life chances and•create educational, social and leisure opportunities where african and afican caribbean people can meet and share experiences and culture.
