"the charity's objects (""objects"") are specifically restricted to the following:1. to advance the sikh religion for the benefit of the public through the provision of public celebrations of the vaisakhi mela and other religious festivals, the provision of public lectures and the production of and/or distribution of hard copy literature and information through electronic media on sikhism to enlighten others about the sikh faith;2. to advance the education of the general public in sikh history, culture and art;3. the promotion of religious harmony for the public benefit by:(a) promoting knowledge and mutual understanding between people from different religions; (b) advancing education and raising awareness about different religions to promote good relations between persons of different religions.4. to provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation for the general public with the object of improving their conditions of life;5. such charitable purposes for the public benefit as are exclusively charitable according to the laws of england and wales as the trustees may from time to time determine.?"
