1)to promote and protect the good health of children, young people, adults and their families who are in need or who are socially and economically disadvantaged in any way and in particular those who have been in the care of or accommodated by a local authority by:- a)providing a training, support and guidance; b)providing them with, or otherwise assistance in the provision of, a placement or placements in suitable accommodation and providing them with, or assisting in the provision of, appropriate carers with the aim of improving family life; and c)providing for their educational establishment in life. 2)the relief of poverty, and in particular but not exclusively, the assistance of children and adults who have as children have been in local authority care and their families.
