1.to advance education in,and the appreciation of,all forms of the arts amongst those living,working or studying in the town of stratford-upon-avon and in the surrounding district,including(without limitation)the arts of drama,dance,music and performance and visual arts generally;and in particular but without limitation:(a) by presenting,producing,organising or promoting or procuring to be presented,produced,organised or promoted either alone or with others performances of music,drama,dance or any other form of arts;and(b)by providing,organising or promoting classes and courses in drama,music,painting or any other form of the arts.2 to promote or assist in the promotion of facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for those living,working or studying in the town of stratford-upon-avon and in the surrounding district in the interests of social welfare.3 to pursue such other charitable purposes as the trustees think fit.
