upon trust in the first place to retain and pay out of the income or capital thereof or partly out of income and party out of capital as the trustees shall from time to time think fit all costs charges and expenses properly incurred by the trustees in or about the execution of the trusts hereof and subject thereto upon trust to pay or apply the income of the trust fund and such parts of the capital thereof (which the trustees shall raise as required by sale of the requisite part of the trust fund) to or for such charitable institutions and charitable purposes and in such shares and proportions as the settler shall from time to time and at any time appoint and after the death of the settlor as the trustees shall from time to time in their absolute discretion determine.
