1.to relieve the needs of persons and their dependents resident in the south east of england who have suffered domestic violence and abuse, or who have committed, or who are at risk of committing, acts of domestic violence and abuse, in particular but not exclusively by the provision of advice, support, counselling and a relapse prevention group which seeks to change abusive behaviour and thus relieve the distress and suffering caused. 2. to advance the education of the public on the issue of domestic violence and abuse.
