Objects:
1.1 the objects of the charity are:1.1.1 to promote and advance for the public benefit the study and practice of traditional yoga (focussing on hatha yoga and raja yoga) particularly but not exclusively to restore an understanding of the relationship between the different limbs of yoga and present this knowledge in its original, whole and undiluted practical form for the benefit of all yoga practitioners and teachers;1.1.2 to advance the education of the public in the practice of and research into the healing, preventative and other therapeutic effects of yoga (including meditation) as a means of improving the mental, physical and spiritual health of the community and to publish the useful results of any such research;1.1.3 to promote mental, physical and spiritual health for the public benefit by providing or assisting in the provision of facilities, courses and services for yoga (including meditation) and alternative therapies;1.1.4 such other purposes as shall be exclusively charitable as the trustees may from time to time determine.
