"3.2 the objects of the charity ('the objects') are:3.2.1 to promote efficiency and effectiveness in the charitable activities of not-for-profit organisations, voluntary groups and charities operating in the local government area of dacorum and elsewhere (""the area of benefit"");3.2.2 to advance the education for public benefit of those involved with voluntary and not-for-profit sector organisations operating in the area of benefit3.3 provided that in the objects, 3.3.1 ""voluntary sector"" is defined as charities and voluntary organisations;3.3.2 ""charities"" are organisations, which are established for exclusively charitable purposes in accordance with the law of england and wales.3.3.3 ""not-for-profit organisations"" are independent organisations which are established for purposes that add value to the community as a whole, or a significant section of the community, and which are not permitted by their constitution to make a profit for private distribution. voluntary organisations do not include local government or other statutory organisations."
