Objects:
(1) to promote the efficiency of the royal welsh by fostering esprit de corps, comradeship and the welfare of the regiment, preserving its traditions and maintaining contact between past and present members thereof and their antecedent regiments (royal welch fusiliers, south wales borderers, monmouthshire regiment, welch regiment, the royal regiment of wales or the royal welsh regiment).(2) to relieve either generally or individually persons who are serving or who have served in the royal welsh (or its antecedent regiments) or the dependants of such persons who are in conditions of suffering, need, hardship or distress.(3) to assist members of the regiment to find employment on their transition to civilian life.(4) the commemoration and remembrance of those members of the regiment (and its antecedent regiments) who have died while on active service and the encouragement of public recognition of the sacrifice made by such persons.
