'the relief of sickness and preservation of health among people suffering from systemic mastocytosis and other mast cell related diseases or conditions and their carers, in particular but not exclusively by:- providing emotional support, in particular, by maintaining an internet based mailing list.- increasing awareness of mast cell related diseases and conditions among health care professionals.- disseminating information on current treatment options, the safe use of medications and the dangers of inappropriate medications.- organising regular group meetings at which health care professionals and academicians are invited to address the group.
