the object of the cio is the relief of poverty, particularly but not exclusively by the provision of housing, and the advancement of education for street children and other children or young people at risk in africa.we aim to do this in 3 main ways:1) by establishing a home/drop in centre which is a safe space for children or young people living on the streets who are not able to be placed back with their families full time but do not want to live on the streets any longer. at the home, food, clothing, health care, education, training, counselling, support and other essentials will be provided.2) by starting the reunification process of street children who want to be reunited with their families (this is dependent on if the family situation is safe and secure).3) by establishing street clinics for those street children who choose to stay on the street. street clinics will involve the provision of food, education, assistance, counselling and other support.
