the objects of the cio are the relief of sickness and the promotion of health of those people suffering from alport syndrome, in particular, but not exclusively by: (a) the establishment and facilitation of a support network for alport syndrome patients, carriers, their families and carers; (b) the provision of information on alport syndrome; (c) the support of research into alport syndrome both in the uk and internationally;(d) the support of a research registry in the uk and an international alliance of national registries.
